Cemex UAE is looking for an experienced Quality Control Engineer to join its Dubai team. This is a technically demanding role at a leading building materials company, requiring expertise in concrete quality assurance, mix design optimisation, and strong stakeholder engagement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare technical submittals for concrete mix designs and associated documentation.
- Liaise with clients to discuss and finalise mix design proposals.
- Run plant trials to secure approval for concrete mix designs.
- Deliver pre- and post-project technical support to the sales team.
- Spot product improvement and cost-saving opportunities proactively.
- Oversee sampling for value-added concrete products and support contractor approvals and applications.
- Analyse customer complaints and help design and execute corrective action plans.
- Monitor and verify the quality of incoming raw materials.
- Conduct site visits and offer technical guidance to internal and external stakeholders.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical or Civil Engineering.
- 5–10 years of UAE concrete quality control experience.
- Dubai Municipality accreditation is an advantage.
- Fluent English required; Arabic and Hindi are advantageous.
- Valid UAE driving licence.
- Detail-oriented, organised, and a committed team player with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
