A growing Abu Dhabi organization is looking for an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join its commercial team, focused on tendering and pre-contract work. This role suits professionals strong in cost estimation, tender prep, and pre-contract management within construction.
You’ll prepare BOQs, manage tender documentation, evaluate quotations, and support procurement. Experience with infrastructure, water treatment, or wastewater treatment projects is a plus.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare cost estimates, feasibility studies, and project budgets
- Perform quantity take-offs and prepare BOQs
- Prepare tender documentation and manage the tendering process
- Issue RFQs based on approved BOQs
- Evaluate contractor quotations and prepare tender evaluation reports
- Support procurement and pre-contract commercial activities
- Monitor project costs against budgets during design
- Coordinate with consultants, contractors, vendors, and internal teams
- Identify value engineering and cost optimization opportunities
- Ensure compliance with contractual and commercial requirements
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or related field
- Minimum 5 years in quantity surveying with tendering/pre-contract focus
- Proven BOQ, cost estimation, and tender management experience
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, PlanSwift, or similar software
- Strong analytical, negotiation, and coordination skills
- Infrastructure project experience preferred
- WTP/WWTP project experience is an advantage
