Job Description

Bashira Specialized Medical Center is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Registered Nurse to join its healthcare team in Abu Dhabi. This role is ideal for nursing professionals who are committed to delivering high-quality patient care while contributing to a supportive and patient-centered clinical environment.

Candidates with experience in psychiatric or mental health nursing will be given preference; however, qualified nurses with relevant home-country experience and the required DOH licensing credentials are also encouraged to apply.

The successful candidate will work closely with physicians, patients, and multidisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure safe, effective, and compassionate care throughout the treatment journey.

Key Responsibilities

Patient Care & Nursing Services

• Provide professional nursing care in accordance with established clinical standards and protocols
• Deliver patient-centered care while ensuring comfort, dignity, and safety
• Assess patient needs and contribute to individualized care plans
• Monitor patient progress and respond appropriately to changing conditions

Clinical Monitoring & Documentation

• Monitor patient conditions, vital signs, and treatment responses
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records and nursing documentation
• Record observations, interventions, and patient outcomes accurately
• Ensure proper documentation in accordance with healthcare regulations

Treatment & Medication Administration

• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
• Monitor patients for medication effectiveness and adverse reactions
• Assist physicians and healthcare teams during examinations and procedures
• Ensure safe medication management practices are followed

Patient & Family Education

• Educate patients and family members regarding treatment plans and healthcare procedures
• Provide guidance on medication usage, follow-up care, and health management
• Support patient understanding of medical conditions and treatment processes
• Encourage patient participation in care and recovery plans

Mental Health & Psychiatric Support

• Provide compassionate support to patients experiencing mental health conditions
• Assist in implementing psychiatric care plans where applicable
• Observe and report behavioral or psychological changes
• Support a therapeutic and safe clinical environment

Compliance & Safety

• Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, policies, and clinical guidelines
• Adhere to infection prevention and control procedures
• Maintain patient confidentiality and ethical nursing standards
• Promote patient safety and quality care initiatives

Requirements

Educational Qualification

• Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Nursing

Licensing Requirements

• Active DOH License or DOH Eligibility is mandatory

Professional Experience

• Psychiatry or mental health nursing experience preferred
• Minimum nursing experience in the home country is required
• Freshers currently residing in the UAE may apply
