Job Overview

A reputable school in Dubai is looking for a compassionate and experienced School Counsellor to join its team starting August 2026. This role focuses on supporting students’ emotional, social, behavioural, and academic wellbeing while promoting a positive and inclusive school environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one and group counselling sessions for students
• Offer support during crisis situations and develop intervention plans
• Design and lead wellbeing programs, workshops, and awareness campaigns
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school leadership
• Maintain confidential student records in line with safeguarding policies
• Assist in developing school policies related to wellbeing and safety
• Promote a supportive and inclusive school culture

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Psychology, Counselling, Social Work, or related field
• Experience working with children or adolescents
• Strong knowledge of safeguarding and child protection practices (UAE experience is an advantage)
• Excellent communication, empathy, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to plan and deliver wellbeing programs
• Strong teamwork and collaboration abilities
