A well-established organization in Dubai is urgently seeking an experienced Senior Accountant with a strong background in construction, contracting, or landscaping. This role is ideal for a finance professional who can oversee accounting operations, ensure compliance, and contribute to financial planning and reporting.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily accounting operations and maintain accurate financial records
- Prepare financial statements, reports, and supporting documentation
- Monitor budgets, expenses, and project costing related to contracting activities
- Ensure compliance with UAE financial regulations and audit requirements
- Handle accounts payable and receivable processes
- Coordinate with internal departments for financial planning and reporting
- Support month-end and year-end closing activities
- Provide financial insights to support management decision-making
Requirements
- MBA or M.Com in Finance from a reputed institution
- 8–10 years of UAE experience in accounting and finance roles
- Mandatory experience in contracting, construction, or landscaping sectors
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting standards
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
