Job Overview

A well-established building materials trading company in Sharjah is seeking an experienced Senior Accountant / Finance Supervisor to oversee finance operations. This is a management-level role reporting directly to the company owner, ideal for professionals who can independently manage accounts and contribute to strategic financial decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage UAE tax compliance, including VAT and Corporate Tax filings
• Prepare monthly financial statements with profitability and cost analysis
• Develop and maintain rolling cash flow forecasts (2–3 months)
• Oversee accounts receivable, including credit control and post-dated cheques
• Perform inventory costing and analyze gross margins
• Coordinate with external auditors and liaise with the Federal Tax Authority (FTA)
• Ensure strong financial controls and accurate reporting across multiple entities

Requirements

• Professional certification (ACCA, CPA, or CMA) is mandatory
• Minimum 5+ years of UAE experience, preferably in trading or building materials
• Strong expertise in UAE VAT and Corporate Tax regulations
• Hands-on experience in inventory accounting and cash flow management
• Ability to independently manage full set of accounts
• Proactive, detail-oriented, and strong risk awareness
• Experience in multi-entity environments is an advantage
