Alqaro Roads Contracting L.L.C. is seeking a highly experienced Senior Estimation Engineer to join its expanding team in Dubai. A good fit for civil engineering professionals with a strong background in road contracting, infrastructure projects, and construction cost estimation within the UAE.
You’ll be responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates, tender documentation, and quantity take-offs while working closely with engineering, procurement, and project teams. Candidates with excellent analytical skills and extensive experience in road and infrastructure projects are encouraged to apply.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare detailed cost estimates for road, infrastructure, civil, and building projects
- Perform quantity take-offs and develop Bills of Quantities (BOQs)
- Prepare tender documents, pricing proposals, and cost analyses
- Review engineering drawings, specifications, and contract documents for accurate estimations
- Coordinate with engineering, procurement, and project teams throughout the tendering process
- Maintain accurate estimation records and support project planning activities
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering
- Minimum 5 years of experience as an Estimation Engineer in construction
- UAE experience in road contracting mandatory
- Experience estimating road, infrastructure, civil, and building projects
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and estimating software
- Must currently be based in the UAE and able to commute to Dubai
- Strong knowledge of Quantity Take-Offs (QTO), BOQs, and Cost Estimation, tender preparation and contract documentation, engineering drawings, specifications, and estimating software
