Job Overview
A Dubai-based organization is seeking an experienced and proactive Senior HSE Officer to oversee health, safety, and environmental practices within transport and logistics operations. This role is critical in ensuring compliance with regulations, promoting a strong safety culture, and driving continuous improvement in workplace safety performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Implement and monitor QHSE policies and ISO standards across operations
- Conduct safety audits, inspections, and risk assessments regularly
- Maintain accurate HSE records, documentation, and reporting systems
- Ensure compliance with UAE HSE regulations and company safety policies
- Deliver safety inductions, toolbox talks, awareness sessions, and defensive driving briefings
- Investigate incidents and prepare detailed reports with corrective action recommendations
Requirements
- 5–7 years of experience in HSE roles, preferably within transport and logistics
- Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
- NEBOSH or IOSH certification is mandatory
- Strong knowledge of workplace safety, occupational health, and ISO standards
- Good understanding of UAE HSE regulations
- Strong communication, analytical, and reporting skills
- Ability to work independently and manage site responsibilities effectively
