    Job Overview

    ALCHEMY is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Supervisor – Accounts to lead core accounting functions within its Oil & Gas operations. This role is ideal for a senior finance professional with strong expertise in financial reporting, ERP systems, and regulatory compliance.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Supervise accurate recording and classification of financial transactions in line with accounting standards
    • Oversee Accounts Payable processes including invoice verification, approvals, and discrepancy resolution
    • Manage Accounts Receivable activities such as invoicing and payment follow-ups
    • Handle accounting for crude oil sales, including validation, entries, and cost transfers
    • Maintain general ledger activities and ensure statutory compliance
    • Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing processes
    • Manage VAT calculations, reporting, and submissions to the Federal Tax Authority (FTA)
    • Oversee Oracle ERP operations, including system controls, upgrades, and audit support
    • Supervise inventory and materials accounting, including stock reconciliation
    • Prepare and analyze financial data for budgeting, forecasting, and performance evaluation
    • Review contracts and ensure financial transactions align with company policies

    Requirements

    • Minimum 10+ years of accounting experience, preferably in the Oil & Gas sector
    • Professional certification such as CA, CPA, or ACCA (mandatory)
    • Strong knowledge of financial reporting standards and regulatory compliance
    • Hands-on experience in financial closing, reconciliations, and reporting
    • Expertise in ERP systems, particularly Oracle
    • Strong analytical, leadership, and problem-solving skills
