Accountant

Nokione is urgently looking for an experienced Accountant to join its JAFZA, Dubai team — a hands-on role requiring strong UAE accounting expertise, solid VAT knowledge, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision from day one.

The interview process includes a practical assessment using SOP Accounting Software and a technical evaluation of UAE VAT and Designated Free Zone VAT knowledge.

What you’ll do:

• Manage day-to-day general accounting activities
• Prepare financial reports and maintain accurate financial records
• Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable processes
• Perform account reconciliations and month-end closing activities
• Ensure compliance with UAE VAT regulations and Designated Free Zone VAT procedures, including those specific to JAFZA
• Work independently and meet deadlines with a high level of accuracy

What you’ll bring:

• Strong hands-on experience with SOP Accounting Software (mandatory)
• Excellent knowledge of UAE VAT regulations and Designated Free Zone VAT procedures
• Solid UAE accounting experience (mandatory)
• Strong abilities in general accounting, financial reporting, reconciliations, AP, AR, and month-end closing
• Ability to contribute from day one with minimal training
