Accountant

Roots & Routes Tourism L.L.C. is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Accountant to join its growing team in Dubai, managing financial transactions and supporting daily finance operations within the travel and tourism sector.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage daily accounting transactions and maintain accurate bookkeeping records.
• Prepare financial statements, monthly reports, and financial summaries.
• Reconcile bank accounts, supplier accounts, and customer accounts.
• Process invoices, payments, and expense reports.
• Handle VAT filing and ensure compliance with UAE tax regulations.
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis activities.
• Support external audits and maintain organized financial documentation.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum 2–4 years of accounting experience.
• Experience in the travel and tourism industry will be an advantage.
• Strong knowledge of UAE VAT regulations.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software such as QuickBooks, Zoho Books, or Odoo.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong English communication skills; Arabic language skills are an advantage.
