Accountant

On Plan Real Estate is looking for a qualified, experienced Accountant to join its finance team in Dubai. This role suits finance professionals with strong technical accounting knowledge, real financial reporting experience, and a solid grip on UAE VAT rules within a fast-paced business.

You’ll own day-to-day accounting operations, keep records accurate, support reporting, and stay on top of compliance — working closely with internal teams and external auditors along the way.

What you’ll be doing

• Maintaining accurate financial records and accounting documentation
• Managing accounts payable and accounts receivable
• Preparing vendor payments, invoices, and account reconciliations
• Performing bank, supplier, and general ledger reconciliations
• Assisting with month-end and year-end closing activities
• Preparing journal entries, accruals, and other accounting adjustments
• Supporting financial and management reporting
• Ensuring compliance with IFRS, UAE VAT regulations, and company policies
• Coordinating with external auditors and providing required documentation
• Monitoring cash flow and assisting with budgeting and forecasting
• Maintaining vendor master data and supporting procurement-related accounting

What you’ll bring

• A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
• At least 3 years of accounting experience
• Proven experience in accounts payable, accounts receivable, reconciliations, and financial reporting
• Strong knowledge of UAE VAT regulations and IFRS
• Experience in a B2B environment, ideally within a multinational organization
• Proficiency in SAP or other ERP systems, plus advanced Excel skills
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills
• Availability for a face-to-face interview in Dubai
