Accountant

Ethart is looking for an experienced Accountant to join its Dubai team. This role suits accounting professionals who’ve worked in construction or contracting and know their way around financial operations, reporting, and UAE VAT compliance.

You’ll manage day-to-day accounting activities, keep records accurate, handle reconciliations, and coordinate supplier payments and customer collections — a role that calls for sharp attention to detail and the confidence to work independently.

What you’ll be doing

• Managing day-to-day accounting transactions and financial records
• Preparing financial reports, account statements, and reconciliations
• Handling supplier payments and customer collections
• Managing accounts payable and accounts receivable processes
• Performing bank reconciliations and supporting payroll-related accounting
• Ensuring compliance with UAE VAT regulations and financial policies
• Assisting with monthly and year-end closing activities

What you’ll bring

• 3–5 years of accounting experience in a contracting or construction company
• Hands-on experience with Zoho Books and Tally ERP
• Strong knowledge of accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank reconciliation, payroll, VAT, and financial reporting
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
• The ability to work independently and meet deadlines
• A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
