A well-established organization in Sharjah is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Accountant / Accounts Assistant to join its finance team. Key Responsibilities

  • Record and maintain financial transactions accurately and efficiently.
  • Prepare invoices, expense reports, and payment-related documentation.
  • Follow up on outstanding payments and support collection activities.
  • Assist with account reconciliations and monthly financial reporting.
  • Maintain organized accounting records and supporting documents.
  • Support the finance team with routine accounting and administrative tasks.
  • Ensure accuracy in financial data entry and record keeping.
  • Assist in preparing reports required by management.
  • Support compliance with internal accounting procedures and policies.
  • Coordinate with internal departments regarding finance-related matters.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
  • Previous accounting experience is preferred.
  • Good understanding of accounting principles and financial processes.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and general computer applications.
  • Knowledge of accounting software will be considered an advantage.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Good organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and within a team.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving abilities.
