A leading steel manufacturing company in Dubai is looking for a seasoned finance leader to take the reins of its Finance function. This is a strategic, high-visibility role for a chartered accountant who has cut their teeth in heavy manufacturing and is ready to shape financial direction at an established organization.
You’ll own financial operations end-to-end — strengthening controls, guiding budgeting and treasury, and partnering closely with business leadership to sharpen performance across the manufacturing floor and the finance function alike.
What you’ll be doing
- Leading and managing the full Finance and Accounts function
- Overseeing manufacturing finance, costing, budgeting, treasury, and financial planning
- Preparing and reviewing MIS reports that feed into strategic decisions
- Building and maintaining strong financial controls and compliance processes
- Partnering with leadership to lift financial performance and operational efficiency
- Supervising the finance team and ensuring timely, accurate reporting
What you’ll bring
- A Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification — mandatory
- Age between 40 and 48
- Deep experience in Steel Manufacturing, particularly Furnace Operations and Hot Rolling Mills
- A track record of leadership in finance management within a manufacturing setting
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft Dynamics
- Strong analytical, communication, and decision-making skills
- Solid command of manufacturing finance, cost accounting, budgeting, MIS reporting, treasury management, financial controls, business partnering, and ERP systems
