Financial Controller

A leading multinational logistics and warehousing group operating in 25+ countries needs an experienced Financial Controller to lead regional finance and accounting from Jebel Ali Free Zone, Dubai. A strong fit for a finance leader with multinational experience and a background in governance, compliance, and strategic planning.

You’ll oversee financial operations, budgeting, reporting, treasury, taxation, audits, and ERP systems, ensuring compliance with IFRS, UAE VAT, and Corporate Tax rules alongside Group reporting standards — while leading a finance team and supporting executive decisions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead all finance and accounting functions across regional entities
• Oversee closing, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting to Group deadlines
• Strengthen financial policies, internal controls, and accounting procedures
• Provide financial analysis and insights for strategic decisions
• Manage treasury, cash flow, working capital, and banking relationships
• Ensure VAT, Corporate Tax, and statutory compliance; oversee audits
• Conduct financial risk assessments and strengthen controls
• Lead, mentor, and develop the finance team via KPIs
• Collaborate with Group Finance and leadership on regional initiatives
• Promote effective ERP use and maintain data accuracy

Requirements:

• CA, ICWA, ACCA, CMA, or equivalent qualification
• Minimum 10 years overall experience, including 3-5 years as Financial Controller or in a managerial role
• Mandatory UAE experience with strong IFRS, VAT, and Corporate Tax knowledge
• Multinational company experience required
• JAFZA or logistics sector experience preferred
• Proficiency in ERP systems (Dynamics, Oracle, SAP, or equivalent)
• Advanced Excel skills
• Strong analytical, leadership, and stakeholder management skills
