Job Overview

Bayaty Architects is seeking an experienced and qualified HSE Officer to join its project site team in the Al Dhafra Region, Abu Dhabi. This role is ideal for safety professionals with strong UAE construction and site safety experience who can ensure full compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and enforce health, safety, and environmental standards across project sites
• Ensure compliance with UAE HSE laws, regulations, and company policies
• Conduct regular safety inspections, audits, and risk assessments
• Implement preventive safety measures and risk reduction procedures
• Organize safety training sessions, toolbox talks, and awareness programs
• Investigate incidents, accidents, and near misses while preparing reports and corrective actions
• Maintain HSE documentation, records, and compliance reports
• Coordinate with project teams and contractors regarding safety matters
• Ensure proper use of PPE and adherence to safety practices
• Support continuous improvement initiatives for occupational health and safety

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or related discipline
• Minimum 10 years of HSE experience
• At least 5 years UAE experience in construction or engineering projects
• Strong knowledge of UAE HSE regulations and compliance standards
• Experience implementing safety systems and conducting training programs
• Ability to identify hazards and implement corrective actions
• Excellent communication, reporting, and organizational skills
• Strong leadership and teamwork abilities
• Experience handling safety audits and regulatory compliance processes
