A leading construction organization in Dubai is looking for a detail-oriented Procurement Engineer / Purchase Officer to manage procurement activities for high-rise building projects — from material sourcing through to site delivery coordination. Immediate joiners or candidates on short notice preferred.
You’ll source Civil, Structural, Finishing, and MEP materials, negotiate with suppliers, manage purchase orders, and ensure compliance with Dubai Municipality and consultant approval standards.
What you’ll do:
- Source and procure Civil, Structural, Finishing, and MEP materials to project specifications
- Develop and maintain strong supplier, manufacturer, and subcontractor relationships
- Negotiate pricing, quality standards, and delivery timelines with vendors
- Manage purchase orders, material tracking, logistics coordination, and site delivery schedules
- Ensure materials comply with Dubai Municipality, Civil Defence, and consultant approvals
- Monitor procurement progress and resolve supply chain issues before they affect project timelines
What you’ll bring:
- 3–5 years of UAE procurement experience in the construction sector
- Proven experience on high-rise building projects in Dubai (mandatory)
- Strong hands-on experience sourcing and purchasing construction materials
- An existing network of local suppliers, manufacturers, and subcontractors is preferred
- Strong negotiation, vendor management, and communication skills
