Belvedere International School – Al Ain is seeking a dedicated and experienced School Social Worker to provide non-therapeutic support to students and families, promoting student wellbeing, safeguarding, and a positive school environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide non-therapeutic social support to students and families dealing with challenging circumstances.
- Work closely with school leadership, teachers, parents, and external community resources to support student wellbeing.
- Identify student support needs and assist in developing appropriate intervention plans.
- Promote safeguarding practices and contribute to a safe and supportive school environment.
- Maintain professional records and documentation related to student support cases.
- Collaborate with relevant stakeholders to ensure effective student welfare services.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree (QFE Level 7) in Social Work/Social Service with minimum 2 years of youth-related social work experience; OR Bachelor’s Degree (QFE Level 7) in Psychology, Counseling, Youth Development, Sociology, or a related field with minimum 4 years of youth-related social work experience.
- DCD License is mandatory.
- Native Arabic speaker with proficient English language skills.
- Must meet ADEK eligibility requirements.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and student support skills.
- Passionate about improving student wellbeing and making a positive impact.
