Milaya Capital is looking for an experienced Senior Accountant to strengthen its finance team in the UAE. This role is a great fit for a detail-oriented accounting professional with a solid grasp of financial reporting, general ledger management, and month-end closing. Candidates with a background in the salon or hospitality industry will be given preference.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze financial statements in line with applicable accounting standards
- Manage the general ledger and complete month-end closing accurately and on time
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
- Monitor company expenses and contribute to cost control efforts
- Coordinate with external auditors and provide documentation and support during audits
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- 3-5 years of accounting experience
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles (IFRS preferred)
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
