A growing consultancy firm in the UAE is looking to strengthen its finance team with a qualified CA or ACCA professional ready to step into a Senior Accountant role. This is a hands-on position for someone who thrives on independence — you’ll be trusted to run accounting, audit, and tax work for a portfolio of clients without someone looking over your shoulder at every turn.
You’ll take ownership of the numbers from start to finish: keeping the books accurate, closing out each month cleanly, and making sure every client account tells a true financial story. Beyond the day-to-day bookkeeping, you’ll be the point of contact for auditors and regulators, so confidence communicating with both is essential. The firm wants someone who can spot a discrepancy before it becomes a problem and who isn’t afraid to make a call when a judgment decision is needed.
What you’ll be doing:
- Running day-to-day accounting operations and processing financial transactions
- Producing financial statements, reconciliations, and management reports
- Managing VAT filings, tax compliance, and audit coordination
- Owning a set of client accounts and acting as their trusted finance contact
- Leading month-end and year-end close
- Liaising with auditors, clients, and government bodies as needed
- Staying on top of UAE accounting standards and tax regulation changes
- Investigating and resolving financial discrepancies independently
What you’ll bring:
- CA or ACCA qualification — non-negotiable
- Solid, practical experience across accounting, audit, VAT, and tax
- UAE accounting/tax experience is a strong plus
- Comfortable working independently and juggling multiple clients
- Sharp analytical and problem-solving instincts
- Fluent in both Hindi and English
- Confident with accounting software and advanced Excel
