Senior Trader

A leading organization in Dubai is looking for a highly experienced, performance-focused Senior Trader to oversee trading operations and drive business growth. If you’ve built a strong track record in commodity or international trade and know how to spot profitable opportunities while nurturing solid commercial relationships, this role is worth a serious look.

You’ll manage the complete trading cycle — from sourcing and procurement through to negotiations and sales execution — working closely with multiple departments to keep trading activities both profitable and fully compliant.

What you’ll be doing

• Overseeing end-to-end trading activities: sourcing, procurement, pricing, negotiations, and sales
• Identifying new business opportunities across potential markets, suppliers, and customers
• Building and maintaining long-term relationships with international clients, suppliers, and partners
• Monitoring market trends, pricing movements, customer demand, and competitor activity
• Negotiating commercial agreements, pricing structures, and contract terms
• Tracking profitability, trading margins, risk exposure, and overall business performance
• Working closely with logistics, finance, operations, and supply chain teams
• Ensuring compliance with trade regulations, documentation requirements, and internal policies

What you’ll bring

• A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Finance, International Trade, Supply Chain, or a related field
• Strong experience in commodity trading, international trade, import-export, or commercial trading
• A demonstrated track record in business development, commercial negotiations, and profitable trade execution
• Solid knowledge of trade finance, pricing strategies, contract management, and risk management
• Excellent communication, negotiation, analytical, and relationship management skills
• Dubai, UAE, or GCC trading market experience is an advantage
