Job Overview

SS Lootah Group is seeking a highly experienced Procurement Engineer to manage procurement operations for Civil and MEP construction projects. This role is ideal for professionals with deep knowledge of UAE market practices and strong expertise in construction procurement.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with project timelines and budgets
• Review technical drawings and specifications to identify material requirements
• Source, evaluate, and manage suppliers, vendors, and subcontractors
• Negotiate pricing and commercial terms to achieve cost efficiency
• Prepare and issue Purchase Orders (POs)
• Procure materials, equipment, and services for projects and maintenance
• Coordinate with engineering, project, and site teams for timely delivery
• Monitor supplier performance and ensure quality and delivery standards
• Resolve procurement issues, delays, and supplier challenges
• Utilize ERP systems (e.g., Oracle NetSuite) for procurement processes
• Maintain accurate procurement records and reports

Requirements

• Minimum 10 years of procurement experience
• Strong background in Civil and MEP construction procurement
• At least 7 years of UAE market experience
• Proficiency in ERP systems and MS Office
• Strong negotiation, analytical, and coordination skills
• UAE driving license is an advantage
