A leading organization in Dubai is seeking a talented Software Engineer (Java) to build and maintain enterprise applications supporting airline operations and business-critical systems, using modern Java technologies and AI-assisted development tools.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, maintain, and enhance enterprise applications using Java and Spring Boot.
- Design and implement scalable, secure, and high-performance software solutions.
- Integrate applications with airline operational systems including crew management, flight operations, disruption management, and safety & security platforms.
- Perform code reviews, debugging, testing, and application enhancements to maintain software quality.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Utilize AI-assisted development tools to improve coding efficiency and software quality.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 3–5 years of professional experience in Java software development.
- Hands-on experience with Java, Spring Framework, and Spring Boot.
- Strong understanding of REST APIs, Microservices, and SQL databases.
- Experience with application development, maintenance, and production support.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
- Experience in the airline operations domain is preferred.
