A leading educational organization in Dubai is seeking an experienced Transportation Manager to oversee and manage all aspects of school transportation operations, including fleet management, route planning, and compliance with UAE regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee daily school transportation operations to ensure safe and timely student transport.
- Develop and optimize bus routes, schedules, and pickup/drop-off locations.
- Supervise, train, and evaluate drivers, bus attendants, and transportation team members.
- Ensure compliance with RTA regulations, UAE traffic laws, and school transportation safety requirements.
- Coordinate vehicle maintenance, inspections, registration, permits, and fleet roadworthiness.
- Handle transportation-related incidents, complaints, and emergencies professionally.
- Liaise with the Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) and collaborate with school leadership and parents.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Transportation Management, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or Business Administration.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in school transportation or fleet management.
- Strong knowledge of RTA regulations, UAE traffic laws, and school transportation safety standards.
- Proven experience managing transportation systems, GPS tracking, route planning, and fleet operations.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and transportation management software.
- Valid UAE Driving License is preferred.
