Job Description

Al-Ansari Group is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Accountant to join its growing Food & Beverage operations in Doha, Qatar. This role is ideal for finance professionals with strong expertise in financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, and cost control within the F&B or hospitality sector.

The successful candidate will support business performance through accurate financial analysis, inventory management, cost optimization, and strategic financial planning. This position offers an opportunity to work closely with management and operational teams while contributing to the continued growth and success of the organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
• Manage cash flow planning, monitoring, and forecasting activities
• Prepare, review, and evaluate Profit & Loss (P&L) statements
• Support management with budgeting, financial planning, and cost control initiatives
• Assist with sales forecasting and provide financial insights for business decision-making
• Conduct variance analysis and identify opportunities to improve profitability
• Ensure accurate recording of financial transactions and account reconciliations
• Monitor inventory accounting, food cost analysis, and operational expenditures
• Develop financial models, management reports, and performance analyses
• Support internal and external audits while ensuring regulatory compliance
• Collaborate with operational teams to improve financial performance
• Maintain internal controls and recommend process improvements

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Minimum 5 years of accounting experience
• Experience within the Food & Beverage industry preferred
• Professional certifications such as CMA, ACCA, CPA, or equivalent are highly preferred
• Strong understanding of accounting standards, financial reporting, and internal controls
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ERP/accounting systems
• Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Qatar-based candidates preferred
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced business environment
