Accountant / Accounts Receivable (AR)

Imdaad LLC, one of the UAE’s most respected and largest integrated facilities management companies, is recruiting an experienced and detail-oriented Accountant – Accounts Receivable (AR) to strengthen its Finance team in Dubai. Imdaad manages a vast and complex portfolio of facilities and infrastructure services across the UAE, making this a genuinely exciting environment for a finance professional who wants to work at scale in a business that directly touches millions of square metres of the UAE’s built environment.

In this role, you’ll be the engine behind Imdaad’s customer invoicing, collections, and receivables management — ensuring that revenue is billed accurately, collected efficiently, and reported on clearly. With 5–7 years of relevant experience and at least 2 years in a supervisory capacity, you’ll bring both technical depth and team leadership to the position, collaborating with internal stakeholders, customers, suppliers, and external auditors to keep the AR function running at its best.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage all Accounts Receivable activities including customer invoicing, billing generation, and ongoing collections management across a large and diverse client base.
• Review contracts and service agreements to prepare accurate recurring invoices in line with billing schedules and commercial terms.
• Reconcile customer accounts on a regular basis, obtain balance confirmations, and ensure all outstanding items are resolved or escalated appropriately.
• Monitor AR ageing reports closely, proactively follow up on overdue balances, and coordinate with the collections team to reduce debtor days.
• Verify journal entries, accruals, and month-end closing entries to ensure the AR ledger is accurate and complete at all reporting periods.
• Review collection performance and actively support effective cash flow management in coordination with the treasury and finance management team.
• Coordinate professionally with internal departments, customers, external suppliers, and auditors to resolve billing queries and provide required documentation.
• Prepare financial reports, AR KPI dashboards, and management summaries for senior finance leadership.
• Support payroll processing and other finance-related activities on an ad hoc basis as directed by the Finance Manager.

Requirements & Skills:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, or a closely related field — mandatory.
• A relevant professional accounting qualification (ACCA, CPA, CMA, or equivalent) is required.
• 5–7 years of relevant accounting experience with a minimum of 2 years in a supervisory or team lead capacity within an AR function.
• In-depth knowledge of Accounts Receivable processes, customer invoicing, collections management, and financial reporting.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to handle large volumes of data accurately and efficiently.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills — able to engage professionally with clients, auditors, and senior stakeholders.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (especially Excel) and ERP systems; Oracle or SAP experience is advantageous.
