Tarrad Development is seeking an experienced Accountant (Receivables) to join its Finance & Accounts team in Business Bay, Dubai. This opportunity is ideal for accounting professionals with strong UAE experience, particularly within the construction and real estate development sectors, who possess expertise in accounts receivable management, reconciliations, and financial reporting.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing receivables functions, ensuring timely collections, maintaining accurate financial records, and supporting compliance with UAE VAT regulations and IFRS standards. Key Responsibilities
- Manage accounts receivable transactions and maintain accurate customer account records.
- Monitor customer accounts and ensure timely collection of outstanding payments.
- Perform account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies efficiently.
- Prepare receivables aging reports, collection summaries, and financial reports.
- Coordinate with clients regarding outstanding balances and payment follow-ups.
- Ensure compliance with UAE VAT regulations and IFRS accounting standards.
- Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end financial closing activities.
- Maintain proper documentation of receivables transactions and collection records.
- Assist management with receivables analysis and cash flow reporting.
- Collaborate with internal departments to improve collection efficiency and financial controls.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 4 years of UAE experience within the construction, contracting, or real estate development sector.
- Strong knowledge of UAE VAT regulations and IFRS standards.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office applications.
- Excellent communication, analytical, and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage collections, reconciliations, and customer accounts effectively.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to financial accuracy.
- Female candidates are preferred for this position.
