Accounts & Payments Executive

Mento Markets, a Dubai-based financial services and Forex/CFD brokerage firm, is recruiting a detail-oriented and dependable Accounts & Payments Executive to support its finance operations. This is an excellent opportunity for an accounting professional who thrives in a fast-paced, numbers-driven environment and wants to build specialised experience within the financial services and online trading sector.

In this role, you’ll be at the operational core of Mento Markets’ financial processes — processing client transactions, reconciling payments, maintaining accurate records, and working closely with the Operations and Compliance teams to ensure everything flows smoothly and accurately. Prior experience in Forex or CFD brokerage will give you a strong head start, though motivated candidates from broader financial services or accounting backgrounds are equally welcome to apply.

Key Responsibilities:

• Process and validate client deposits and withdrawals in a timely and accurate manner, ensuring all transactions comply with internal procedures and regulatory standards.
• Perform daily, weekly, and monthly payment and bank reconciliations, investigating and resolving any discrepancies promptly.
• Maintain thorough, accurate, and up-to-date bookkeeping records across all financial accounts and transactions.
• Assist with the preparation of financial reports, statements, and management accounts as required by the finance team and senior leadership.
• Coordinate with the Operations and Compliance departments to ensure seamless end-to-end financial processing and regulatory adherence.
• Monitor payment processing platforms and flag anomalies, failed transactions, or potential compliance concerns to the relevant teams immediately.
• Support the continuous improvement of accounting processes, payment workflows, and internal controls.

Requirements & Skills:

• Solid foundational knowledge of accounting principles, bookkeeping, and financial reporting.
• Exceptional attention to detail, accuracy, and organisational skills — precision is non-negotiable in this role.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including data formatting, pivot tables, and reconciliation tools.
• Ability to work with focus and efficiency in a fast-moving, high-transaction financial environment.
• Prior experience in the Forex, CFD brokerage, or financial services sector is a significant advantage and will expedite your application.
• Familiarity with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, or similar) is an added plus.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required.
