Draughtsman

A&G Stonecraft LLC, a specialist in high-end luxury natural stone fabrication and installation, is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Draughtsman to join its technical team in Dubai. This is a specialised role for professionals with deep experience in natural stone drafting — someone who understands the unique demands of translating architectural visions into precision production drawings for some of the most exclusive stone projects in the UAE and wider region.

As Draughtsman, you’ll be the critical bridge between the design vision of architects and consultants and the hands of the production team — ensuring that every cut, every dimension, and every detail is captured precisely before a single piece of stone is touched. Key Responsibilities:

• Produce detailed, accurate shop drawings for natural stone projects covering floors, walls, staircases, facades, feature pieces, and custom architectural elements.
• Develop comprehensive cutting lists and production drawings that the fabrication team can execute efficiently and without ambiguity.
• Create architectural and fabrication drawings based on client specifications, consultant packages, and site survey data.
• Coordinate proactively with clients, architects, consultants, and internal production teams throughout each project’s lifecycle to resolve drawing queries and incorporate revisions promptly.
• Conduct detailed reviews of project specifications, structural drawings, and construction documents to ensure all stone design elements are accurately represented and buildable.
• Ensure all drawing outputs comply with A&G Stonecraft’s quality, format, and production standards.
• Maintain a well-organised and up-to-date drawing register and version control system for all active projects.

Requirements & Skills:

• Proven experience working on natural stone projects and special architectural stone works — this is a mandatory requirement; general drafting experience alone is not sufficient.
• Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD; experience with other design or 3D tools is an advantage.
• Strong technical drafting ability with a meticulous eye for detail and scale accuracy.
• Excellent ability to read and interpret architectural drawings, specifications, and construction packages.
• Good interpersonal and coordination skills — able to liaise professionally with clients, design consultants, and production staff.
• Experience on luxury stone projects (marble, granite, onyx, quartzite, etc.) is essential.
• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Technical Drawing, or a related field preferred.
