Chief Surveyor

Kabri International Co. LLC, a well-regarded civil engineering and infrastructure contractor operating across the UAE, is looking for an experienced and technically authoritative Chief Surveyor to lead all surveying operations on its infrastructure, road, and utilities projects in Dubai. This is a senior field leadership role for a GCC-experienced surveying professional who is as comfortable directing a field survey team as they are producing precise calculations, managing authority submissions, and resolving on-site technical challenges.

You’ll be the technical backbone of Kabri’s surveying function — ensuring that every setting out, as-built survey, and volume calculation across the project is accurate, compliant, and delivered on programme. If you bring 5–8 years of UAE/GCC infrastructure surveying experience and want to take a leadership role on meaningful civil engineering projects in Dubai, this is the opportunity to step up.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and lead all site surveying activities including precise setting out, as-built surveys, topographic surveys, and volume/quantity calculations across all active project areas.
• Coordinate closely with site engineers, design teams, and project management to ensure the accurate implementation of drawings, alignments, and levels on the ground.
• Supervise, schedule, and guide field survey teams, managing all surveying equipment maintenance, calibration schedules, and data processing procedures.
• Prepare comprehensive survey reports, calculation packages, and supporting documentation required for authority approvals and client submissions.
• Ensure all surveying activities are carried out in full compliance with project specifications, quality plans, and applicable authority requirements throughout the project lifecycle.
• Monitor survey accuracy at every stage of project execution, proactively identifying and resolving technical discrepancies before they affect construction.
• Maintain a well-organised survey documentation system and support overall project progress reporting with accurate, up-to-date survey data.

Requirements & Skills:

• Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering or Surveying from a recognised institution.
• 5–8 years of GCC or UAE experience in road, infrastructure, and utilities project surveying — this is a mandatory requirement.
• Advanced proficiency in Total Station, GPS/GNSS equipment, AutoCAD, and relevant surveying software.
• Strong understanding of construction sequencing, road alignment geometry, utility surveying, and authority submission requirements in the UAE.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills — able to manage and develop a multicultural survey team while coordinating effectively with engineers and project managers.
