Omnix International LLC is placing an experienced IT Support Specialist with a leading government entity in Abu Dhabi. This is a structured, compliance-driven environment where technical competence, clear documentation, and service desk discipline matter as much as troubleshooting speed. Arabic-speaking candidates and UAE Nationals are preferred, though strong non-Arabic applicants will also be considered.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide first-line and second-line technical support for hardware, software, and network connectivity issues.
- Log, prioritise, and manage incidents and service requests through ServiceNow or an equivalent ITSM platform.
- Collaborate with senior specialists and project managers to resolve complex technical problems.
- Build and maintain the team’s technical knowledge base and troubleshooting documentation.
- Support system upgrades, deployments, and new technology roll-outs.
- Develop end-user training materials and guides for recurring technical issues.
- Uphold organisational governance, reporting standards, and compliance procedures.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Digital Operations, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of IT support or technical support experience.
- Hands-on ServiceNow or equivalent ITSM platform experience.
- Strong troubleshooting skills across hardware, software, and network environments.
- Arabic language skills preferred; strong non-Arabic candidates considered.
- Government or large enterprise experience is an advantage.
- Available within 30 days maximum notice period.
