Omnix International LLC is placing an experienced IT Support Specialist with a leading government entity in Abu Dhabi. This is a structured, compliance-driven environment where technical competence, clear documentation, and service desk discipline matter as much as troubleshooting speed. Arabic-speaking candidates and UAE Nationals are preferred, though strong non-Arabic applicants will also be considered.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide first-line and second-line technical support for hardware, software, and network connectivity issues.
  • Log, prioritise, and manage incidents and service requests through ServiceNow or an equivalent ITSM platform.
  • Collaborate with senior specialists and project managers to resolve complex technical problems.
  • Build and maintain the team’s technical knowledge base and troubleshooting documentation.
  • Support system upgrades, deployments, and new technology roll-outs.
  • Develop end-user training materials and guides for recurring technical issues.
  • Uphold organisational governance, reporting standards, and compliance procedures.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Digital Operations, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of IT support or technical support experience.
  • Hands-on ServiceNow or equivalent ITSM platform experience.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills across hardware, software, and network environments.
  • Arabic language skills preferred; strong non-Arabic candidates considered.
  • Government or large enterprise experience is an advantage.
  • Available within 30 days maximum notice period.
