A Dubai-based air cargo and freight forwarding company is looking to bring on a Junior Operations Coordinator to support its expanding operations team. This role suits someone who already has hands-on experience with air cargo and wants to grow their career in logistics and freight forwarding. You’ll be helping keep shipments moving, documentation accurate, and internal teams aligned.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate day-to-day air cargo operations and shipment activity
- Prepare, check, and file accurate cargo documentation
- Liaise with internal departments and logistics partners
- Track shipment progress and share operational updates
- Help ensure cargo is processed and moved on schedule
- Follow company procedures and documentation standards
- Keep operational records and files organized
- Pitch in on general operational and admin tasks as needed
Requirements
- At least 2 years of experience in air cargo handling, operations, or documentation
- Solid communication and coordination skills
- Strong organizational and time-management habits
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
- Careful, detail-focused approach to documentation
- Working knowledge of air cargo procedures, cargo documentation, and MS Office
