This is a demanding but deeply rewarding role for ICU nursing professionals who are committed to delivering the highest standard of critical care in a world-class hospital environment that upholds the values and clinical excellence of one of the UK’s most respected healthcare brands.

As an ICU Nurse at King’s College London Hospital Dubai, you’ll be part of a dedicated multidisciplinary critical care team working with complex, high-acuity patients in a technologically advanced environment. The hospital invests heavily in its clinical staff, offering continuous professional development, exposure to international clinical protocols, and a workplace culture that prioritises both patient safety and staff wellbeing. Immediate joiners with valid DHA licensure or eligibility are particularly encouraged to apply.

  • Provide highly specialised, evidence-based nursing care to critically ill patients in the Intensive Care Unit, adhering to King’s College London Hospital’s clinical protocols and international ICU standards.
  • Continuously assess, monitor, and respond to changes in critically ill patients’ conditions, initiating appropriate interventions and escalating concerns promptly through established clinical pathways.
  • Administer complex medications, intravenous therapies, vasopressors, and sedation in strict accordance with physician orders and ICU medication management protocols.
  • Operate, monitor, and troubleshoot advanced ICU equipment including mechanical ventilators, infusion pumps, haemodynamic monitoring systems, and CRRT devices.
  • Collaborate closely with intensivists, specialist physicians, respiratory therapists, pharmacists, and allied health professionals to deliver coordinated, patient-centred critical care.
  • Communicate clearly and compassionately with patients’ families, providing updates on condition and supporting them through highly stressful clinical situations.
  • Maintain accurate, comprehensive, and timely clinical documentation including patient assessments, care plans, medication records, and nursing progress notes.
  • Uphold strict infection prevention and control protocols, patient safety standards, and Joint Commission International (JCI) accreditation requirements.

Requirements & Skills:

  • Minimum 3 years of dedicated ICU nursing experience in a recognised hospital — applications without this specific experience will not be shortlisted.
  • Prior experience working in a Dubai or UAE hospital is preferred and will be given strong consideration.
  • Registered Nurse with a current, valid nursing registration in your home country.
  • Advanced clinical knowledge of critical care nursing, haemodynamic monitoring, mechanical ventilation, and ICU medication management.
