Utravel, a trusted name in corporate travel, is growing its Dubai finance team and needs a Senior Accountant / Finance Executive who’s as comfortable with reconciliations as they are with audit support. This role sits at the center of the company’s day-to-day finance operations — reviewing financial statements, tightening up reconciliations, and backing up treasury activities whenever the team needs extra hands. It’s a good fit for someone who wants real ownership over the numbers.
What you’ll be doing:
- Reviewing monthly P&L statements and Balance Sheet schedules for accuracy
- Digging into variances and investigating anything that doesn’t add up
- Supporting month-end and year-end close
- Assisting with internal and external audit requirements
- Verifying supplier invoices and processing payments
- Reconciling bank, supplier, customer, intercompany and general ledger accounts
- Reconciling monthly credit card statements and tracking outstanding balances
- Providing backup support for treasury and banking activities
What you’ll bring:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- At least 3 years of accounting and finance experience
- Strong background in financial statement review and reconciliations
- Experience supporting Accounts Payable and audit processes
- Comfortable in Excel and ERP/accounting systems
- Sharp analytical, communication, and organisational skills
