Technical Engineer

Job Overview

AQC FITOUT LLC is seeking a detail-oriented Technical Engineer to support the technical coordination and execution of interior fit-out and joinery projects in Dubai. The role involves drawing coordination, technical submissions, site verification, consultant coordination, and project documentation.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare, review, and coordinate shop drawings, joinery details, and as-built drawings.
• Review design drawings, specifications, and BOQs and identify discrepancies.
• Coordinate architectural, interior, MEP, and joinery drawings to resolve clashes.
• Prepare technical submittals, material submissions, RFIs, and track approvals.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, procurement, and project teams.
• Verify site measurements and existing conditions before production drawings are finalized.
• Support quantity take-offs and provide technical clarifications.
• Issue approved drawings and technical instructions to site and factory teams.
• Conduct site inspections and support resolution of technical issues.
• Maintain drawing registers, revision records, approval logs, and handover documentation.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Architectural Engineering, Interior Design, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 3–4 years of relevant interior fit-out experience with mandatory UAE experience.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office.
• Revit knowledge is an added advantage.
• Strong understanding of fit-out materials, finishes, joinery detailing, installation methods, drawings, specifications, and BOQs.
• Experience with shop drawings, material submittals, RFIs, consultant approvals, and MEP coordination.
• Strong communication, coordination, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
